Foodservice Management
Since the focus of my internship has been leadership, I have had several management and leadership experiences. I was a procurement manager for seven weeks for a restaurant on BYU campus in which I helped carry out a theme day. I also worked for four weeks with the food and nutrition director and educator at the large Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. Furthermore, I have taught ServSafe classes, drafted a business plan, created a four-day hospital menu with various for special diets, and taught two lessons on leadership topics to other interns.
